Notes

Uses: For higher rainfall areas of the Adelaide Plains and hills in borders, verges, median strips, parks and reserves. Planted singly as a foreground plant or en-mass as a low barrier or formal hedge. Responds to heavy pruning. Attracts birds for food source and habitat. New growth orange in winter. Produces red fleshy berries.
Note: Although this species is not classified under the Sewerage Act, it is recommended that it not be planted closer than two metres to any sewer main or connection.
