Uses: Useful as a ornamental foreground or border planting in mixed beds or planted en-mass for erosion and weed control in borders, verges, raised beds and rockeries. Requires well-drained soils. Responds to pruning. Attracts native butterflies and insects, caterpillar food plant. Best propagated from cuttings. Various cultivars are available 'Aussie Crawl', 'Aussie Salute', 'Fandancer' and 'Mauve Clusters'
