Notes

Uses: A highly ornamental but hardy foliage plant. Plant singly for contrast or grouped as an informal hedge, wind-break or feature in borders, roadside verges and raised beds.
Attracts native birds and insects.
Requires very well-drained soils.
As with most Australian Proteacea species is phosphorous intolerant.
Note: Although this species is not classified under the Sewerage Act, it is recommended that it not be planted closer than two metres to any sewer main or connection.
