Uses: Highly ornamental shrub or small tree. A great plant for Mediterranean gardens. Large red fruit is a feature and can be eaten. Can be grown as a feature plant in pots or beds, or planted and trimmed as a hedge.
Can tolerate a wide varieties of soil.
Several cultivars are available including P. granatum 'Ben Hur', P. granatum 'Wonderful, P. granatum 'Elche'.
