Uses: Highly ornamental medium tree from South Africa. Produces rich clusters of bright red flowers in spring. These flowers produce copious amounts of nectar which attracts local birds and bees. This nectar will also stain pavements or cars so care should be taken when choosing a location to plant. In some environments this tree is semi deciduous and can loos its leaves in certain conditions.
