Can grow to 40m with a dense canopy of large rubbery green and red bronze leaves.
This tree does have properties that can help purify air, particularly the removal of formaldehyde.
Care should be taken particularly with children and pets when exposed to this plant's rubbery sap. In some circumstances it can irritate skin and eyes
