Notes

Uses: A highly ornamental tall mallee with brilliant flushes of deep red flowers.
Has beautiful smooth bark with colours of salmon, pink, white and purple.
Does best in semi arid conditions. It will grow in cooler locations but is sensitive to extended wet periods and doesn't flower as well.
These trees are valued for their nectar production for the honey industry.
