Uses: Can be planted either as a feature tree, a fruit tree or both. Has spectacular display of blossoms in Spring.
Fruit makes excellent jams and preserves.
Can be espaliered. Needs to be pruned to maintain shape.
Needs to be protected from sudden changes in temperature so best planted in a protected area.
