Uses: As a feature plant in mixed native landscapes for it's profuse flowering and grey foliage, or as an informal hedge, barrier or wind-break in parks and reserves. Requires well-drained soils.
Attracts nectar eating birds and insects.
Note: Although this species is not classified under the Sewerage Act, it is recommended that it not be planted closer than two metres to any sewer main or connection.
