Uses: Hardy ornamental, suitable for areas of low maintenance. Can be used as a background shrub in mixed plantings, or as a formal hedge in borders and verges. Responds to heavy pruning. Requires good drainage. Butterfly attracting.  Popular herb for cooking. Also symbol of rememberance.
