Uses: Beautiful Bauhinia from Queensland.
Originates from a topical/subtropical climate.
Does require a well drained, sunny, Location.  Must have frost free location.
The genus Bauhinia was named by Linnaeus after the swiss Bauhin brothers and the two lobes of the leaf were thought to exemplify the two brothers Jean and Gaspard.
It may be difficult to find in cultivation but you may be able source by contacting your local nursery.
