Notes

Uses: For higher rainfall areas of the adelaide plains and hills in wider verges, median strips, parks and reserves. Planted singly as a background in mixed plantings or en-mass as a barrier, screen or formal hedge. Responds to heavy pruning. Attracts birds for food source and habitat. New growth orange in winter.
Produces red fleshy berries.
Note: Although this species is not classified under the Sewerage Act, it is recommended that it not be planted closer than two metres to any sewer main or connection.
