Notes

Uses: A very colourful and versatile plant with rich sprays of rich blue/violet flowers. Cut foliage has a vanilla scent. Needs little maintenance apart from a good prune after flowering. Can be trained as a standard. The berries and leaves of this plant are toxic. It has also become weedy in some parts of the country. Care should be taken when choosing a planting location partcularly near reserves or native bushland.
Does best in well drained soil. Attracts butterflies.
